Hair Removal
Laser hair removal targets actively growing hair. When the laser energy is applied to the hair shaft, the energy causes thermal damage to the underlying follicle and papilla, reducing its ability to produce hair in the future. By using the 810nm diode laser, practitioners can safely treat all skin types and hair colors.

About Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal uses laser light to debulk and eventually permanently prevent hair regrowth. The 810 nm diode is the gold standard wavelength for hair reduction.
What it is
The 810 nm diode of the laser targets the melanin in the hair shaft by using a single wavelength of light that has a high absorption rate in melanin. As the melanin heats up, it destroys the root and blood flow to the hair follicle, disabling the hair growth permanently.
How it Works
Most patients describe experiencing a fast, pinching sensation during treatment, with minimal discomfort. Special goggles will be placed to prevent any damage to the eyes. Treatment sessions last only 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the size of the area being treated.

It takes multiple visits to target all the hair shafts because the hair needs to be in the growing stage, which doesn’t happen for all hairs at the same time. For fine hair, it may take as little as 3 visits, but it can take up to 12 for dark, thick hair, 4-6 weeks apart.

Even after the first visit, hair will start to grow back finer and thinner, but it will take multiple treatments to get complete hair reduction.
